Women’s Adventure Film Tour set to inspire

Jean Hailes for Women’s Health is pleased to announce that the Women’s Adventure Film Tour, presented by Paddy Pallin, is back for its third season and is an official part of Women’s Health Week.

This is Australia’s original women’s adventure film tour, created by Adventure Entertainment and She Went Wild.

This short film festival is a celebration of the inspiring women around us who are doing extraordinary things in the name of adventure. This year’s lineup features an all-star cast of Australian athletes including cliff diver Rhiannan Iffland, climber Angie Scarth-Johnson, trail runner Jacqui Bell and many more including women in snow sports, mountaineering and mountain biking.

“We are delighted to once again share the stories of these amazing women throughout Women’s Health Week,” says Brenda Jones, Women’s Health Week campaign manager.

“Screenings happen all around the country and ticket sales will also raise funds towards supporting the work we do to create a healthier future for women in Australia.”

Each screening of the Women’s Adventure Film Tour features 7 short films across 110 minutes. Selected screenings will include emcee introductions, prize draws and a panel discussion with local notable female adventurers.

The Women’s Adventure Film Tour is exempt from classification, but the films are suitable for the entire family and would obtain G/PG ratings.

To find screenings near you, search our events page and follow their Facebook page for more updates.
