Now in its sixth year, Women’s Health Week is the national annual campaign for not-for-profit organisation Jean Hailes for Women’s Health. The campaign seeks to encourage, educate and inspire all women across Australia to put their health first and recognise the long-term benefits of good health and wellbeing.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with The Australian Women’s Weekly,” says Janet Michelmore AO, executive director of Jean Hailes.
“Like Jean Hailes, The Australian Women’s Weekly is a trusted brand for providing women with credible, factual and up-to-date information on health.
Together we look forward to helping women from all over Australia understand the importance of maintaining good health now to ensure a healthier and happier future.”
Australian Women’s Weekly Editor-in Chief, Nicole Byers says, “Sharing relevant, quality women’s health information with our readers is important to us. We also understand our readers, like most of us, live very busy lives and need the occasional reminder to set aside time for their own health and wellbeing.”
About Jean Hailes
Jean Hailes for Women’s Health is a national not-for-profit organisation committed to improving women’s knowledge and understanding of complex health issues. Jean Hailes has a unique model, with three integrated units: medical centres; the Jean Hailes Research Unit (a formal partnership with Monash University); and a department that translates the latest health findings into practical, accessible information on our website, through the media, and through resources, educational programs and health professional events. Jean Hailes only produces trusted evidence-based information reviewed by our in-house team of clinicians. In 2016, Jean Hailes was officially recognised as the Federal Government’s national digital gateway for women’s health.
