“Focusing on our health is really important for LGBTIQ+ people, as we experience significant health disparities. Women’s Health Week provides us with the opportunity to focus on our health and nudges the door ajar for shared conversations.

My hope for this Women’s Health Week is that LGBTIQ+ women and trans and gender diverse people find time to focus on themselves and take at least one action to improve their health; a walk in the park, making that call for an overdue appointment, trying again to access care when previous attempts have failed, reaching out and connecting with others and know that being our authentic selves is cause for great celebration.”
